A visit to St.Brendans

Today on the 9th of October three Kilkenny and Carrickshock hurlers came to our school.The three hurlers who came were John Tennyson, Michael Rice and John Dalton.They came at 12 o clock. When they came in everyone gave them a cheer. John Tennyson brought the cup in. We asked them questions and they signed autographs. John Tennyson and John Dalton are ex pupils of this school. John Tennyson and John Dalton remembered playing in the school league and dreaming of once playing in an All Ireland final. John Tennyson gave us free homework on Monday night. We had a great time with them and hope to see them again next year.

The School Hurling League

Action from today's game

Today we  started the school hurling league. The two teams playing  were Josh’s team and Edwin’s team. It was a real good game. At half time the score was level 1 goal each. In the end Josh’s team beat Edwin’s team 1-0 to 2-2. After the match Josh said “I thought Edwin was going to pull away at half time”. We are really looking foward to the rest of the games.
