 SQUIRRELS

 As Fast AS Lightning

THE SQUIRREL SCURRIES UP THE

TREE GATHERING UP ACORNS.

SOME ANIMALS MAY FIND IT FRIGHTENING

 THAT THE SQUIRREL

ZOOMS PAST THEir HEAD.

SOME SQUIRRELS ARE BIG AS ELEPHANTS

SOME ARE SMALL AS A RAT

AND SOME ALWAYS FALL.

WHEN THEY GET Their ACORNS

 They’re AS HAPPY AS LARRY.

BUT WHEN THEY FAIL TO GET FOOD

YOU MAY FIND THEM AS ANGRY

AS A BULL.

THEY STUFF ACORNS IN Their CHEEKS MAKING

Their CHEEKS AS FAT AS A COW.

BUT They’re STILL AS

CUTE AS A PUPPY.

The Ligertah

As fast as a cheetah

As big as a tiger

As loud and proud as a lion

The Ligertah is the ultimate big cat

And he never gets fat

The Ligertah is as sly as a fox

But as tame as a cat

That goes in a litter box

You can go for a ride

But make sure you hold on

To his soft fluffy mane

And there’s his long fluffy tail

It feels as if it was silk

He also loves milk

His fur as tan as the sand

With spots and stripes all over

He purrs like a pussycat

But roars like a lion

He can creep on you from behind

And will give you a fright

His paws as big as footballs

His claws as sharp as knives

He likes to eat roast beef

With his big, big teeth

He is loads of fun

And likes to have a bun

With his can of bud

He will never get drunk

and prefers rock over funk

and that is the one and only Ligertah

                                                    Cowdoshgun

              It’s as long as cow,

           Barks like a dog,

And a tail of a fish

                It could eat a dish,

          Faints in the fog

            And it always says oww!

            It has a gun,

           It can stun,

            It is very unkind,

       It shoots from the behind,

     It’s a cowdoshgun.

My 2 Cats

My favourite cat Rex,

Is as thin as a baseball bat,

And he smells worse,

Than my old doormat.

His ears are long and pointy,

His nose is as small as a gnat,

His claws are as sharp as knives,

And his favourite after dinner treat,

Is my mum’s black and blueberry pies.

 My other cat Paddy,

Goes out hunting at night,

And while he does that,

He pees on my new blue kite.

 My other cat Leo,

Passed away a while ago,

I wish I could have said goodbye,

On that horrible day.

 They’re all brilliant,

 in each and every way.

I couldn’t even live without them,

For even just a day.

Over the hills and far away.

Over the hills and far away

Lived a old man fat and grey

He had a pet cat

His name was Pat.

He was as black as coal.

His brother Noel

This fat grey man

Drove a big red van

His friend was Dan .

BULL

As fearless as James Bond

As strong as a gate

Dirty as dung

As angry as a tornado

As fast as lightning

As blind as bat

Be careful he could puck you

And he eats anything.

Ballistic as a nutcracker

And eager as a beaver

As fat as a an elephant

Stinks like slurry

His kicks are dangerous

He hates to be rubbed

He’s mental for cow meal

And if he doesn’t get it

He’ll break out

The Horse

Graceful as a swan,

Fast as a cheetah,

Powerful as a lion,

Dark brown in colour,

Friendly as he can be

Soft as silk

The brightest eyes

Pointed ears

The nicest I’ve seen
