Thanks to all who have returned your completed Active Home Week Challenge charts. You will now receive your certification of participation as seen above. Check out our final pictures. We have cycling, walking, gymnastics, trampolining but it seems pupils in Newmarket can’t wait to get back to hurling and camogie.

Active Home Week is now complete. It was wonderful to see such a variety of activities. Today we have roller-skating, running, cycling, swing ball, soccer drills, ballet , trampolining and getting fit with Ray and Ó Sé. Well done to Maddie in Snr Infants who was the first pupil in the whole school to return her Active Home Week challenge chart. You did tremendous work at home by sharing your photos and engaging with the Active Home Week Challenge. Now don’t forget to return your challenge charts by email and then I will send you Active Home Week Certificates.

We are now on day 5 of the Active Home week challenge and the students at St. Brendans have shared their latest activities. It’s wonderful to see all the family walking in the woods and brothers and sisters doing activities together. Today we have hurling skills, climbing wall, swings, horse-riding,  football, cycling and zumba.Even the family pets have got involved !

It’s great to see all the activities that you are doing for the Active Home Week challenge and it looks like tremendous fun. Today we’ve got running, walking, cycling, soccer, trampolining, basketball and pogo-sticks. As for climbing, playgrounds may be closed but you can always find a suitable tree. Don’t forget to complete the Active Home Week challenge chart each day and send us a photo of the completed chart.

The pupils in Newmarket are keeping fit and active. It’s great to see such a variety of activities. We’ve got ballet, PE with Joe, hiking (walking), hurling and soccer skills, swing ball, trampolining, cycling, bursting the bubbles, yoga and horse riding.
